Hola amigos en el mundo!
En este Blog se trata de la visita de mi familia
aqui en Chile y de todo que hicimos y que nos pasó.
Por suerte tuve vacaciones casi todo el tiempo
asi que por unos 11 dias estuvimos juntos.

episodes.
Für etwa 4 Tage insgesamt waren wir nur in Santiago
unterwegs. Für 3 Tage haben wir die umliegenden Berge genossen und weitere 4
Tage sind wir 400km in den Norden nach La Serena und Umgebung gefahren.
Santiago!
We did some guided and private tours and saw a lot. From small hills in the city, the huge fruit market, artisanal work and on partys socializing with chilenos :)

Mountains!
One day we
went together to Manquehue (about 1600m) and Manquehuito, hills in the city of
Santiago. Another day we did a family hike in Yerba Loca and got up to 2400m.
One last hike me and my brothers climbed up the Cerro Provincia (2750m). The nature
around here still is fascinating for me…

La Serena!
We rented a car and drove some hours up north. Our rented apartment was right next to the beach so we had an amazing view for the sunsets. We arrived full of plans... But...
One hour after our arrival there was an earthquake ("Terremoto") of level 8.3. Unfortunatelly the epicenter wasn't very far away. We felt the earth moving pretty good in our 4th floor apartment. It was even felt a bit in more than 1100km away Buenos Aires. Luckily almost all chilean houses are built to resist most earthquakes, so nothing happend to our house. And
After it stopped shaking we evacuated because of the probability of a Tsunami (remember - house directly at the beach!). They say about 1 Million people in all chilean coastline were evacuated.
Gracias a Dios no nos pasó nada. Y gracias a los dueños de nuestro departamento sabiamos donde quedarnos! Ustedes nos ayudaron cuando lo necesitabamos! El destino nos juntó como desconocidos y nos dejó como amigos! :)
Das Erdbeben hatte bisher über 600 Nachbeben, von denen die meisten aber nicht spürbar waren. Nach ein paar Tagen bei einem Nachbeben der Stärke 5 nachts mit meinen Brüdern in einem Raum:
*aufwachen, sich gegenseitig anschauen*
Einer: Es bebt oder?
Einer: Es bebt oder?
Zweiter: *müde* Sollen wir aufstehen?
Dritter: *Verschlafen* Nein, hat doch schon wieder aufgehört.... *schnaaaaaarch*
An solch kleine Nachbeben kann man sich tatsächlich ein wenig gewöhnen.
Die anderen Tage in La Serena wurden dann ein wenig umgeplant, aber wir haben dennoch ein paar kleine Ausflüge gemacht und eine schöne Zeit dort verbracht.

| Einer meiner Brüder hat sich einen Traum erfüllt und ist ca. 1km auf der Panamerica - der längsten interkontinentalen Straße der Welt gelaufen :) |
With my
parents came another friend of mine: Gustav (or Gustavo). He must have been
missing his friend Fred! Those two guys were with us almost all time and made
some quite nice experiences here like drinking chilean wine or going trekking. They will meet again in some other part of the world.
