Why it is worth living and enjoying life - Queenstown

Sometimes i really wonder why some people are giving themselves or  each other a hard time... life is such a wonderful thing - if you give it the chance to be...
I was in Queenstown. For only 2 days, 3 nights. But it might have been some of the most intense experiences during my travel i made here.
I stayed at a house with an incredible view (picture). My hosts this time were Chloe (New Zealand), her boyfriend Oscar (Colombia) and Nicole (Chile). The whole household is made up for hosting people. These 3 guys kind of dedicated their life to help and host people. And most of the time there are more than just one surfer... i met a swiss guy, an american guy and 2 chinese girls there. What a nice company!
First day:
9:30 Skydiving! Getting instructed, getting into a small plane without any seats. At a height of 4500m the door opens, you are tied up to your instructor, your body is over the edge of the plane, only the instructor is holding you. And then a little push, a rush of adrenaline and a lot of air between you and the ground... up to 200km/h. 60 seconds of free fall. But time just goes too fast. Where to look at? Enjoying watching the earth coming closer? Enjoying the view around? Looking at the camera? Watching the clouds passing me? I tried to do everything at the same time... Believe me it is an awesome feeling. (3 pictures)
But also speaking about tha 'bad' things: it is definitely less scary and less adrenaline than expected! The instructor pushes you over the edge, he opens the parachute, he does the landing, this all is not your own decision (like when you do bungee jumping). So if you want to hear a tip: do a high bungee jumping and save some money :)
13:30 Mt Ben Lomond! Hiking to about 1800m height in just 4 hours both directions. That was even much more better! Almost nobody else. And amazing nature all around me! Quiet happiness and Gratefulness. There are no words for this in any language i know. You feel something much greater than yourself, greater than just a human being... If you have experienced this feeling yourself you know what I'm talking about. You just enjoy the 11 pictures. And some Kias (birds) joined me up there :)
18:00 In the evening i was out with another couchsurfer girl (from Slovakia) to a christian adult group meeting (Junge Gemeinde für Erwachsene). This girl is going to take me all the way up to Wellington in her car! Nice!
Second day:
I rent a bike and drove about 40km in beautiful nature... Fred also enjoyed it. And i finally spent some time with my hosts. We played all our favorite music typical for our countries =) What a nice day!

Jag önskar всё хорошо para vosotros!
Hasta pronto.
Miguel
